I was finding to replace a Sauder Tv credenza after 6 years. The Sauder always made nervous (needlessly) because of the cardboard back on it. This Tv stand is a "hoss". The back is made with the same solid "boards" that the rest of the unit is made with. And it is heavy.
Allow 2-3 hours to put it together and, when you finish assembly, you will need help inspiring it into position. Btw there were several slight nicks and dings in the pieces which was irritating and a slight scary. Fortunately, all were in places imperceptible to the tasteless eye. This is a piece of furniture. It looks great, feels solid, was 100% easy to assemble (be patient and faithful and do it on floor covering to prevent scratches), and does the job for which we got it perfectly. Is it worth the extra money over a Sauder? To me and my wife, it was.
